Both Celtic and Viking women wore dresses fastened at the shoulders with a pair of brooches, and these brooches were often uses to hang stands of beads made of stone or precious metals. Sometimes these strands had spacers worked into them, both because it looked good, but also because these spacers helped to keep the strands from getting tangled.

Design Details
This set of spacers contains a total of 7 pieces - two triangular end pieces, 2 of the smaller rectangular spacers, and one larger center rectangular spacer, plus a pair of rings to attach the completed strand to your brooches. Beads are not included.
